Abstract

Industri konstruksi berperan penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional, tetapi masih menghadapi tantangan berupa keterlambatan proyek, pembengkakan biaya, rendahnya mutu, dan ketidaksesuaian teknis. Permasalahan tersebut juga terjadi pada proyek-proyek berskala besar di Indonesia, termasuk yang dikelola oleh Ciputra Grup, sehingga dibutuhkan pendekatan manajemen yang lebih adaptif. Total Quality Management (TQM) menjadi strategi relevan dengan menekankan perbaikan berkelanjutan dan keterlibatan seluruh elemen organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh TQM terhadap kinerja proyek dan kinerja bisnis pada proyek konstruksi Ciputra Grup. Ruang lingkup penelitian meliputi proyek yang aktif maupun telah selesai dalam delapan tahun terakhir. TQM dikaji melalui dua dimensi: Soft TQM, yang menitikberatkan kepemimpinan, pelatihan, dan budaya organisasi; serta Hard TQM, yang berfokus pada prosedur teknis, kontrol mutu, dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) berdasarkan data proyek Ciputra Grup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hard TQM berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja proyek, sedangkan Soft TQM berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan. Kinerja proyek terbukti berperan sebagai mediator kuat yang menghubungkan TQM dengan kinerja bisnis, mencakup profitabilitas, reputasi, dan kepuasan pemangku kepentingan. Kesimpulannya, integrasi aspek teknis dan budaya dalam TQM menjadi faktor penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proyek sekaligus memperkuat daya saing dan keberlanjutan bisnis.
